Terrain is a heavy commercial carpet tile from Belgotex, taking its design cues from the raw contours of natural landscapes and offered in an extensive palette of twenty earth-toned colourways. Constructed from Stainproof SDX solution-dyed nylon, with recycled content used in the pile yarn of certain colours, Terrain tiles have a pile height of approximately 3mm and a total thickness of around 6mm. The standard 25x100cm plank format meets the EN 1307 heavy commercial classification, achieves a Class 2 fire rating under SANS 10177-4 and Bfl-s1 under EN 13501, and offers strong colour fastness to light, rubbing and water alongside low electrostatic propensity and permanent static control. Sound absorption performance further supports its use in busy, open-plan commercial interiors.

Installation follows the SANS 10186 fitting code of practice, with brick, ashlar, random ashlar and herringbone layouts all supported by the plank format, giving designers considerable freedom to create a bespoke floor pattern. Protector mats are recommended in areas with regular castor wheel use, and the tile is manufactured in South Africa.
