Berber Point 920

Berber Point 920 is the heavier-duty counterpart to Belgotex’s Berber Point range, built for demanding commercial environments and available through New Floors Nation across South Africa. Constructed from Stainproof Miracle Fibre polypropylene, with an Eco-content blend in selected colours, it comes in seven refined tones: Tactic, Redefine, Founder, Polish, Scalable, Beyond and Resilience.

The range is supplied as 4.2m broadloom or 50x50cm tiles as standard, with 25x100cm planks, 100x100cm tiles and specialist shapes such as chevron, hexagon and right-angle triangle available for feature layouts, subject to minimum production quantities. Berber Point 920 offers a choice of ResinBac or NexBac backing, with total thickness ranging from around 7mm to 7.5mm and mass from roughly 1317g/m2 to 3877g/m2 depending on backing. Fire performance sits at a Class 2 or Class 3 rating under SANS 10177-4 depending on backing choice, and the ResinBac option delivers 21dB of impact sound insulation, a genuine benefit for multi-storey commercial buildings.

The product carries strong colour fastness to light and rubbing, low electrostatic propensity, and has passed VOC testing under GBCSA and GBCA criteria. Installation follows Belgotex’s standard fitting guidance, with herringbone recommended for planks and tessellated for tiles.
