Accelerate - Edit

Accelerate Edit is a heavy commercial carpet tile from Belgotex, stocked by New Floors Nation for architects, contractors and facilities teams sourcing durable flooring across South Africa. Like the rest of the Accelerate family, Edit is built on a tufted multi-scroll loop pile construction and is offered in the five core Accelerate tones: Calm, Comfort, Grounded, Solid and Strength, giving it broad compatibility with existing office and institutional colour schemes.

The tile is constructed from Stainproof SDX solution-dyed nylon, with an Eco yarn variant used in selected colourways, and finished on a NexBac SX backing that brings the overall thickness to around 5.5mm. It meets the EN 1307 heavy commercial standard, achieves a Class 2 fire rating under SANS 10177-4 and Bfl-s1 under EN 13501, and offers permanent static control alongside sound absorption and thermal resistance figures suited to busy work environments. Beyond the standard 50x50cm tile, Belgotex also offers Edit in plank and larger tile formats, subject to minimum production quantities.

Edit carries the same 15-year limited wear warranty and 5-year guarantee as the wider Accelerate range, is proudly manufactured in South Africa, and holds Green Tag level A plus certification with VOC emissions tested to GBCSA and GBCA benchmarks. Installation directions include tessellated, ashlar, random ashlar, brick, monolithic and colour mix layouts, and protector mats are recommended wherever castor chairs are in regular use.
