Diagonals

Diagonals is a heavy commercial structured needlepunch carpet tile from Belgotex, engineered for demanding, high-footfall interiors and stocked by New Floors Nation for supply across South Africa. It uses a blend of Stainproof Miracle Fibre and Stainproof Miracle Fibre Eco in selected colours, offered in five tones: Coconut, Granite, Wedgewood, Squirrel and Midnight.

The standard 50x50cm tile is built on ResinBac backing at around 8mm thick with a mass of roughly 1317g/m2, and additional NexBac tile and plank formats are available on request, subject to minimum production quantities. Diagonals has been tested for colour fastness, electrostatic propensity and VOC emissions, giving specifiers confidence in both its visual longevity and indoor air quality performance.

Belgotex covers Diagonals with a 5-year guarantee and a 10-year warranty, manufactures it in South Africa, and certifies it to Green Tag level A Gold. Installation follows a tessellated layout in line with the SANS 10186 fitting code of practice, and protector mats are recommended in areas where castor wheels are used regularly.
