Blend

Blend is a heavy commercial carpet tile from Belgotex, designed with tone-on-tone colourways that visually minimise soiling in high-traffic areas, and available through New Floors Nation across South Africa. The twelve- colour palette, including Blend Berry, Blend Terracotta, Blend Olive and Blend Navy among others, is designed to coordinate with several other Belgotex tile ranges and follows current commercial interior colour trends.

Constructed as a tufted multi-scroll loop pile in Stainproof SDX yarn, with an Eco blend used in certain colours, Blend has a pile height of 2 to 4mm and sits on a NexBac bitumen backing for a total thickness of around 6mm. The standard 50x50cm tile achieves a Class 3 fire rating under SANS 10177-4 and Bfl-s1 under EN 13501, along with strong colour fastness to light, water and rubbing. Sound absorption and a 24dB sound insulation rating make it a good fit for open-plan and multi-tenant office buildings, and the tile is rated for intensive use on staircases and under castor chairs.

Belgotex backs Blend with a 15-year warranty and a 5-year guarantee, manufactures it in South Africa, and certifies it Green Tag level A Gold. Tiles can be laid tessellated or in a colour mix pattern, with protector mats recommended under castor wheels.

New Floors Nation stocks the full Blend colour range and can assist with samples, technical specification and commercial quoting. Get in touch to discuss availability for your project.
