Affect

Affect is a general to medium commercial carpet tile from Belgotex, distributed in South Africa by New Floors Nation. The range is built around organic, free-flowing patterns designed to soften office interiors and support wellbeing without sacrificing performance, making it well suited to open-plan workspaces, meeting rooms and reception areas.

Affect uses a bespoke tufted polypropylene yarn that balances comfort underfoot with practical durability for everyday office traffic. Tiles come in nine neutral, versatile colourways, Sprig, Daybreak, Breathless, Growth, Renew, Shadow, Sway, Revival and Brightly, chosen to sit comfortably alongside natural materials and biophilic interior schemes. Overall thickness is around 7mm, positioning Affect as a general or medium commercial product rather than a heavy-duty specification.

Because the pattern is organic rather than directional, Affect gives designers freedom to mix colourways across a floor plate without the layout constraints of a strict grid pattern, while still tessellating cleanly for straightforward installation and future tile replacement.

New Floors Nation stocks the full Belgotex Affect colour range and can arrange samples, spec sheets and quotations for office refurbishments and new commercial fit-outs across South Africa. Contact us to discuss your project.
