Red Balau is a hard, heavy, and dense Southeast Asian hardwood, widely regarded as one of the most popular decking timbers due to its excellent all-round performance. High rot and insect attack resistance with an average dried weight of 850 kg/m³. Class 2/3 durability rating and estimated lifespan of 10–15 years.
